Scott O’Grady has been asked to run for the US Senate seat that will be vacated by Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas) this fall.

He has begun a pledge campaign to see if he can raise enough money to launch a statewide campaign.  Things are looking good!

Scott is getting some national recognition as well.  He is nationally known which is helpful on so many fronts.

We like Scott because he is a man of convictions and dedication.  He possesses the leadership and discipline required to lead us in these uncertain times.

Politics is a lot like getting your plane blown up around you.  You go in believing you can change Washington and Washington changes you.  We need men and women who can survive on the ground in Washington who can stand up for the values that matter most to us. Liberals want desperately to change America into a socialist country.  They despise people like Scott who believe in clinging to God and guns. One more thing, government should stay out of our way.

This is a great country! Let’s fight for it by supporting people like Scott.

Why are we so helpless today to get things done in Washington?  The stimulus bill that was just signed by Obama is an alarming example of just how far Washington will go without the appropriate accountability.  We continue to reelect the same people to Congress who continue to make devastating choices for America.

Americans have lost their sense of self.  I believe Americans are convinced that they cannot impact Government to make the necessary changes that will help us out of this crisis.  We sit back in observable incredulity while our tax dollars (and our kid’s tax dollars) are being wasted all the while doing nothing.

You can make a difference.  Call you local Senator and Representative and tell them you are not going to vote for them if they continue to support such harmful legislation.  Flood Congress with yours calls and seriously….do not vote for them again!
